SkateAir reinterpreted the skateboard in transparent plexiglass. Developed through Relov’s collaboration with AS Design, it turned a familiar street-culture object into a meeting point between industrial design, fashion, and visual experimentation.
The transparency was the idea made visible: the deck became both a functional object and a different surface for creative expression.
The project also entered the worlds of art and retail. A limited-edition SkateAir collaboration with artist Kevin Lyons was created for Paris concept store colette. SkateAir also sold through La Rinascente, Italy’s department-store group, carrying the product into a distinctive design and retail context.
As co-founder and Executive Vice President, Andrea led global business development and product-development strategy at Relov. The work combined the making of an unconventional lifestyle product with the relationships needed to take it into international markets.
