01 / 03An idea becomes real through other people.
Andrea La Mendola works across film, technology, and ventures. His career moves between the imagination of a writer-director and the practical work of building products, partnerships, and organizations.
He co-founded Indyca, directed internationally awarded films, and held operating, engineering-council, and board responsibilities at HyperloopTT. Today, that experience takes several forms: LiliBot, international robotics partnerships, board and advisory work, film collaboration, and angel investing.
02 / 03The perspective travels with the work.
A film needs a point of view, a cast, a crew, and a way to reach its audience. A new technology needs an engineering path, industrial partners, capital, and an organization capable of bringing them together.
Andrea has worked inside both processes: directing Echoes and Lost in Gray; helping build Indyca’s production and distribution strategy; and developing HyperloopTT’s global operations, product and technology, and crowd-powered model.
He has also built and launched LiliBot, a fully functional AI platform connecting autonomous intelligence with a public persona. Today, he applies that accumulated know-how to advising companies and new ventures on strategy, products, artificial intelligence, and growth.
03 / 03Engineering, with a cinematic eye.
Andrea holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Information Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, specializing in media and new-media technologies, and a film-directing certificate from UCLA Extension.
Early work in production and logistics for the Torino 2006 Winter Olympics and in media production at BlissCoMedia gave him experience in the coordination behind large events and creative work. Filmmaking, engineering, and execution have continued to inform one another.
